At Kids Piano Studio, we take pride in modern music teaching. Not all children learn the same, and learning music the traditional way in every class just gets boring! It might even be why many kids quit. Teachers don’t have to teach the way they were taught, and that’s why I believe that teachers should have fun too!
About the instructor
Hello, I’m Sandy, and it’s a pleasure to have you here! As you may have gathered, my enthusiasm revolves around the transformative impact of music education. I earned my bachelor’s degree in interior design from NJIT in 2021, coincidentally the same year I welcomed my daughter, Lavina. Faced with a challenging recovery, I had to step away from my career in interior design.
Over the following months, I opened my home to dedicated students eager to learn the piano. Through this experience, I discovered my passion for working with children, and I’ve decided to continue this fulfilling journey for as long as the opportunity allows.
My goal is to provide an atmosphere that’s full of encouragement and excitement for music learning. I love working with kids, so I try to radiate positive energy wherever there are kids around! I’ve been teaching children’s piano for over 9 years and I am beyond excited to do it full-time now at Kids Piano Studio!
